Government of Kabardino-Balkaria sacked

President of Kabardino-Balkaria, Arsen Kanokov sacked the government of the republic, RIA Novosti reported, citing a source in the administration of the head of the CBD.
Kanokov resignation of the government and the presidential envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District Khloponin announced April 1. President of the Republic has laid on his cabinet ministers responsible for the aggravation of the situation in Kabardino-Balkaria. According Khloponin Prime Minister Alexander Merkulov, "not bad, but it is time to rotate.
Merkulov was Prime Minister of the CBD in August 2009. In 2010, in connection with the reassignment of Kanokov as head of government of the republic in full force to resign, but later Merkulov again took up the post of prime minister.
With the new Cabinet Kanokov plans "to strengthen the areas of youth work and the fight against religious extremism."
The most resonant events in the country recently became a militant attack on tourists from Moscow. Feb. 18 armed men stopped the "Gazelle" with tourists. As a result of the conflict three Muscovites were killed and two wounded. A few hours after the attacks on tourists has been undermined by cableway.
